As we meet twice a week one class is mainly dedicated to the craft of Acting and Musical Theatre and one class is mainly dedicated to rehearsal time for our Bully plays the Spring Show on May 16th, and other projects.
All
master classes will be held in the Warner Studio Theatre in our main
building at 403 N. Main St. South Bend.
While we meet twice a week we know that many of our students are in
shows here at South Bend Civic or in school and do excuse them from
classes in the case of rehearsals.
Fall
Master
classes for the fall will begin the week of Sept. 16th and run thru Saturday Nov 23rd.
Jr. CYC will meet Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 and Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30
Sr. CYC will meet Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 and Saturday mornings from 11:00 to 12:30
Winter

master classes will start Tuesday January 7thth and run thru Saturday Feb 15th.
Jr. CYC will meet Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 and Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30
Sr. CYC will meet Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 and Saturday mornings from 11:00 to 12:30Feb 16th thru Feb 25th CYC students will either be in our Kids4Kids musical or working backstage on the show
Spring

classes will start Saturday March 1st and run thru May 15th . Starting right after Sprig Break students will be in rehearsal for the spring show "The Giver". Therefore Saturday morning classes may be combined for rehearsal purposes.

CYC students get to take the 3 workshops offered during the school year no additional cost
CYC students are invited to participate in Shakescenes in the summers at Notre Dame as part of our program
CYC students are considered first for roles in TYA productions if we decide to cast with youth
CYC students have guest artist come teach during the year
Tuition for the entire year is $480. That is 26 weeks of instruction or 78 hours of class time! Tuition can be paid in 4 payments on the first of each month (other than the 1st payment in Sept which is due by the first day of class).
**We are looking for students to make a full year commitment and we know that taking a full year is not only a commitment of time it is also a commitment of resources. Therefore, CYC students pay 1/2 of the hour cost that regular students pay.
